Like his brother, Addison grew up on the family farm and has been involved in agriculture for over 25 years. He earned a BSA in Agribusiness Marketing and Management from the University of Arkansas. During college he joined the Army National Guard, earning his commission as an Artillery Officer in 2007. Post graduation, Addison managed a 6,000 acre farm in Arkansas.
Addison was 1 of 12 Soldiers selected and assigned to the first Arkansas Agribusiness Development Team (ADT 01) and was deployed to Southern Afghanistan in 2010 for one year. Their mission was to help build the local Afghan population’s trust in their government through agricultural development in the Taliban dominated and war-torn Southern region.
Joining FLS upon his return from Afghanistan, Addison is a licensed Arkansas Real Estate Agent, licensed Arkansas Insurance Agent, and member of the American Society of Farm Managers & Rural Appraisers-obtaining accreditation.
